Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy for Design and Programming Services
All Website design and programming sales are final. In most cases, design mockups are created and approved before a deposit is requested. When a client approves a mockup or verbally agrees to a commitment, a detailed contract must be signed and returned with the deposit so that both parties are clear of all requirements before proceeding. A contract may be negotiated before signing but must be adhered to once a signed agreement is complete. If you agree to mock ups but fail to follow through on a contract and/or deposit, we retain the right to bill you for time taken to create the mockups at our regular hourly rate of $40.

AUK International may accept a refund request in some cases, at our discretion. An Instance where we would accept a request for a refund would be if AUK International and client are unable to work together in a communicative and professional manner or if creative differences force an end to all work. If this is the case it will always be if the amount of hours put towards the job is less than the total amount of the deposit paid for the job. If this is the case, the remaining monies left after billing for all hours to date can be refunded to the client within 14 days and all work will cease.

Return Policy for Other Services
Other services including, but not limited to Graphic Design, Web Design and Development are typically custom projects. Each project is evaluated individually to estimate the total project cost, based upon the unique needs of each client.

AUK International maintains the same refund requests for all other hourly work as stated in the above Design and Programming Policy.

Return Policy for Hosting Services
All hosting sales are guaranteed 99% uptime and 100% client satisfaction. If a refund is requested, AUK International will refund a prorated amount, which is the total amount paid minus any time used in the contract. Hosting rates are defined at web hosting page. If after 3 months you wish to relocate your website and request a refund, you would be entitled to 35%.
If a refund request is accepted, any monies left after the prorated charges will be returned to the client and all hosting will immediately cease upon payment of refund, which is usually 7 to 14 days from the request.

Domain Registration (applies to Web hosting products only)

If domain name registration is associated with the account, upon the cancellation of the Web hosting product, the account will be downgraded to Domain Name Registration Only.

Domain name registration fees are not refundable.

No Transfer of Funds Between Accounts
AUK International does not transfer funds from one account to another for any reason.

If we receive a chargeback or payment dispute (i.e. PayPal Dispute) from a credit card company or bank, your service and/or project will be suspended without notice. A $50 chargeback fee (issued to recover fees passed on to us by the credit company), plus any outstanding balances accrued as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before service is restored, files delivered, or any further work is done. Instead of issuing a chargeback, contact us to address any billing issues. Requesting a chargeback or opening a PayPal dispute for a valid charge from us is fraud, and is never an appropriate or legal means of obtaining a refund. Please read and make sure you fully understand our refund policy prior to making a payment.
